jesse venturas new show on trutv is neat :) not that i agree with all but give some thought points

Opie and Anthony made him look like an asshat, and it was funny as hell to watch/listen to. All you have to do when discussing something with Jesse Ventura to shut him down is give him a little pushback, because he is so used to people listening to him without question.

I wish I had to room to do that.

I saw a set that was 44" across. Under the tree?

Just back from the model and hobby shop that's down the road a piece. Christmas makes me think of model trains, and I am seriously considering one for next year, when cashflow permits the purchase of a semi-decent train set.

And where would said train set reside? -- at the mancave?!;) Unless your fiancee is also a train fan -- I know these things take up a lot of space!

ETA: clearly not alone in my 'concerns'!

Train sets are one of the (very few) things I am sad about missing out on by having daughters instead of sons. I can't get my girls interested in baseball either.

I have a friend that built his train city on a huge piece of plywood that he would lower from the ceiling in his garage, when he wanted to play. The engineer in you should be able to do this.

I am really getting sick of the e-cards that are clogging up my work e-mail. Sure, the thought is nice, and I know it is "green" to send non-paper cards, but this is getting ridiculous. I work with 5 people from a single law firm -- I got the same e-card from all 5 of them in about a 7 minute span.

I suggested to a coworker that we have a community bottle of booze and all take a shot when an e-card comes in. I would be hammered now if we did that...

The idea that it is green to send an e-card, which utilizes electricity, over a paper card which is a renewable resource causes me pain.
