I sit on the board of www.cvcvac.org and hold a NYS EMT cert.

I get paid to work in the energy sector.

Wow -- I really hope it goes through for you!^;)

Spoke to a co-worker this morning who has a 6 month Spinone Italiano. Sounds more like a sports car to me.:D It's a gun dog, CM.@:-)

I think the whole concept of the e-card vs. real card comes down to this, which is why I still send the old fashioned hard copy cards.

I pulled a Gore; I bought so many offsets that I have to fly places just to use the credits. It's a terrible conundrum. I have my wife burn tires as well, it's the only way I can use the credits each month...

I love the smell of rubber in the morning.

Whew! - so glad to hear that -- I was worried there -- I was thinking that I was not only expending massive amounts of time -- but also wasting other energy here!;)

Yeah, that's energy intensive. Although I think your annual energy consumption is 4MW. Which is a pretty hefty appetite. :-:

In regards to the e-card vs real card debate, I send real cards. ;):D

Talk about wasting energy. On Monday my mailman leaves me a thingy that says I have to sign for a certified letter at the post office. Big problem....it's addressed to my deceased father. So today I had time to wait in line for the letter. I forged my father's signature, to be able to sign for the letter and crap...it's from the Voter's Registration Office asking for a copy of his death certificate to take him off the books.

No wonder death people keep voting. My dad sure will. ;)

I don't have a copy of his death certificate either. Atleast they did send me a SAE with postage afixed.

Haha. That's funny. :-:

The whole carbon credit market thing is such a .

I drive a car that takes premium fuel and gets less than 20MPG (the way I drive it).

Ah cool, so you must live in a smaller region as well :D

I am trying to relocate to one(for work), but not sure costs are going to work out for it, got to discuss it with the other partners this next week.

We have a paid ambulance service that has a contract with the county here and changes every 2-3 years. I think the one here now is finally going to stick around but who knows. The VFD medics and first responders are normally much faster around here, a few of them have the needed EMT trainings from fund raisers or occasional state grants.

Rebooked successfully for free in L, not R. I'll have to hope the EUA comes through a second time. SEA-EWR redeye on a Monday night on a 738. I figure I've got a 50% chance. If not I've got the reclining exit row window so I should be just fine.

there are two 2 megawatt continuous power generators to make 4 megawatt at peak at one time...but they don't run all the time thankfully. if they did I'd be totally deaf they are too loud!

The Christmas tree is finally up and decorated. But it isn't an evergreen, it's the fake ficus tree that we have. I didn't want to spend $50 on a real tree, cut down to 4 ft so that we could put it on top of a table so that the Devil Dog from H3LL wouldn't eat it.

All day long this silly dog has been barking at the "tree".
