Let's not start talking about energy now. Please.

I like the energy talk, it's interesting. :-:

Sure, its fun. But I deal with it 9-5 M-F. I come to the Box to escape it.

Not that I can do it now, but what type of people is your company looking to hire? @:-)

Big news for the Wandering Aramean blog...I'm moving!

As of tonight I'm part of the Boarding Area group of blogs. Should mean more visibility and action on the site. I'm very excited. :D :D

LOL! Indeed they are small and sparkly ...:D

A few years ago, Mr.Brit gave MissTeenBrit a piece of land on Mars as a spoof Xmas gift! I don't think she was very impressed!

Well, Box, although I hate to say it, I am going to bid you all farewell for the evening.

I'm off to bed!! I had a very early morning (4am) and then worked a long day in the City with clients, so I'm officially pooped!

See you tomorrow!:D

I really need to look for some good q-Up fares so taht I can sew up BD gold and then start working on CO Plat re-up.

Bit trickier next year as i no longer have live-in child care. Need to find a way around that little problem ....:(

I'll be doing the exact same thing. Maybe we'll end up on some of the same MRs out of EWR. :)

2010 looks like it's going to be almost exclusively a point/status building year (in order to reap the heck out of it in 2011). I'd like to keep CO Plat, get SPG Plat, and accrue a boatload of RDMs...the latter, hopefully as early in the year as possible. There's definitely a separate category in my budget for these projects. :p

The big problem, of course, is that whole work-half-day-on-Saturday thing, so hopefully I can also fit all of this in on Sundays, the occasional 2-day weekend we get, and the bits of vacation here and there. Hopefully my spring break will involve one week of PSP (with the family) and one week of bouncing around the country...

Of course, there are the 3 months of summer vacation, but that's an entirely different kind of "peak travel season."

Probably worth about as much as my vacation home, though. :(

Teh Hold 'Em Gods have decided to smote me. I had A-K offsuit and flopped top pair. Board was K, 3, 6. Guy I'm playing against goes all in and I call. He turns over K-7. This  goes runner-runner and hits TWO SEVENS to beat me out of 5,000 chips in one f-ing hand.

I'm sure it's worth more than my condo in Boca. :(

I was checking on prices because I need to sell this place and I saw a condo priced at $10,000. Too bad I don't have the time or money to become a slum lord. There are alot of cheap deals out there.

I told my grandfather that the one thing from his house I want to inherit is the train setup. He only set it up once when I was a kid, but it was large enough to cover a 8' x 20' area with a multi-train Lionel O-gauge setup.

Wow. That's awesome.

I wonder if O-gauge train setups will support multiple engines at the front coupled back to back.

In PSP where my place is, there is so much inventory. I got to refinance earlier this year before the comps started going south. Now I am glad I have a low interest rate and a place we can enjoy! I see some of the listings and think -- wow, I could be the slumlord, but I don't have the stomach for it, particularly when I see the results of some of the rentals near my place.
