I really need to look for some good q-Up fares so taht I can sew up BD gold and then start working on CO Plat re-up.

Bit trickier next year as i no longer have live-in child care. Need to find a way around that little problem ....:(

In other news, my LAS-IAH-LGA flights just posted with a nice bonus. I am inclined to believe it's a mistake, but perhaps it's an early Christmas present?

Yes, platinums are getting 25% extra RDMs right now for no good reason.

We used to go down to 58 at night in the winter. Now that we've got a little one in the house, we keep the rest of the house at 63 and just open a window in our room a little.

Any The Prisoner fans around here?

I use to watch the show off and on. I enjoyed it.

Hope you are on your way to Ft. Myers soon.

Thanks ladies and gents...we got out about 45 minutes late....uneventful flight except because of weather near RSW, they buttoned up the cabin almost an hour before landing.

Teh Hold 'Em Gods have decided to smote me. I had A-K offsuit and flopped top pair. Board was K, 3, 6. Guy I'm playing against goes all in and I call. He turns over K-7. This  goes runner-runner and hits TWO SEVENS to beat me out of 5,000 chips in one f-ing hand.

I had a bad FullTilt night last night. I was playing in a cash prize tourney and was doing pretty well. I had J 6 in the big-blind, the flop came down 10 10 10. I bet the pot and was called by one person (the chip leader). The turn was a 6 giving me a full boat. I checked and so did the other person. The river was a 2.

Chip leader makes a medium bet, I raise to all-in, he calls me and turns over a 10 knocking me out of the tourney! UGH!!

That is one name that they are referred to as. Also called "ordinary" or "high wheeler". They have one that's got a 60" front wheel.

I learned to ride a 42" when I was younger. It's not easy.

I had a unicycle in my youth. And a pogo stick.

He did write a Volume 2 followup, and I have another softcover of his in red that I am drawing a blank on the title of.

It has no value as a teaching tool, but The Professor, the Banker, and the Suicide King is a phenomenal poker read. Positively Fifth Street by James McManus is not nearly as exciting but still interesting...autobio of a male Canadian journalist who gets assigned to cover the WSOP for Harper's Bazaar and ends up entering and cashing.

Thanks, Brit -- for having my back!:D Trustguy could tell that I'm into 'classy' things!;) Trustguy, we don't want to make Lisa jealous -- so you'll just have to get her something more sparkly!:D
