I am pleased right now -- Lisa and I are going to HNL for her b-day in February. With lower AA airfares and the 10% soccer discount, we got $354 RT AI from LAX. So... that said, we will be in HNL from 2/5 -2/8. It will likely be my first of 4 trips over there next year. ^ Lovely Lisa will be with me for 3 of 4.

In random news, a few months ago Marriott mailed me an offer that if I stayed a total of 40 nights they'd extend Plat for another year. I only have 31 nights, called them to confirm the offer as I was thinking of doing a mattress run since I found a $52/night fairfield in NJ.

The guy asked if I was going to be able to make it and I told him it'd be tough, but i was going to try. He puts me on hold, comes back and tells me that since i've been a Plat for so long, they are extending it for me through 2/2011.

A mattress run without the mattress run. :D

Very nice - right now I'm wishing Hyatt would adopt rollover for stays to help me next year.
