HP Ontario Mills has always gotten me the amenity points, despite what has been posted on the Hyatt board. The manager, for some reason, loves me, and I always get cookies and a beer (Miller Lite :rolleyes:) as my personal amenity. There is an Outback nearby and also a Chik-Fil-A, which is rare in So Cal (I have major coupons which will pay for tomorrow's lunch)...

In random news, a few months ago Marriott mailed me an offer that if I stayed a total of 40 nights they'd extend Plat for another year. I only have 31 nights, called them to confirm the offer as I was thinking of doing a mattress run since I found a $52/night fairfield in NJ.

The guy asked if I was going to be able to make it and I told him it'd be tough, but i was going to try. He puts me on hold, comes back and tells me that since i've been a Plat for so long, they are extending it for me through 2/2011.

With Marriott's elite rollover nights and the 15 bonus nights I get from carrying the Chase Marriott Visa, I'll be over halfway to Gold in 2010 before the year even starts. I think I'll have about a third of the stays I need to renew SPG Platinum as well thanks to their stays count double promotion.
