It is definitely not worth the  to take MetroNorth. Amtrak does stop in Yonkers, but if you're going to NoVa then you may as well sit on US and mourn the loss of XOXOs. You'd probably still get there quicker.

The big station in central Jersey is Metropark. The advantage of traveling from there is that you can spend some quality  on the Garden State Parkway.

Found out! You don't catch up on the box! Fraud! It was posted here a little while ago. :D:p:rolleyes:

I've never hidden the fact that I don't read every post in here. :D

I wondered aloud last night after you left what kind of  your company is hiring. :-:

Donut makers, of course.

Apparently there is a White Elephant Gift Exchange this afternoon before the company Christmas party tonight. Sounds like I'll need to make a run to the liquor store. :-:

Yup, I can walk from DCA to where I go in NoVa. :-:
The train, for me, is nothing more than an enormous hassle. It would work well if I was going CBD to CBD but I don't.

Yes, that's it. Only in NJ would they have a train station that's nothing but a parking lot.

Great; Monday morning will hopefully be free of  -- at least I have an exit row on an aircraft that I'm reasonably assuming will be starting its day in PHL.

In other news, my mother's FLL flight was upped to a 752 from a 738 and she missed the upgrade on a cert. Hopefully the upgauge did not cost her her exit row.

Greetings from school...art teaching got shifted to resource room when the subbing company failed to get four other subs for today - they needed five and I was the only one to show.

That lovely personnel situation cost me a prep period.

Morning, Box.

LOL! I think it cost the princely sum of $25

Good morning, Box. Was a busy night, I see.

Brituchenite Dec 18, 2009 8:48 am

Good to see that the box is not busy at the moment. I am about to monopolize the posts in order to avoid multi-quoting - and therefore snarky comments from ALCO :D:D

My wife makes this argument regularly. I retort that heat is a four letter word, to which I receive .

For me, 65 is ideal for indoor temps.
