You wouldn't rent it out? The taxman must be really nice to you..

I may rent it out, but not a great rent market here, I'd likely just keep it for friend and family.

one idea passing through is for hunters temporary housing, that actually pays well, and I could make as much in 1 month as 12 months rent.

$30???!!!:confused::rolleyes: Tha't just ridiculous.

My limit is imposed by my company, so it's a little more generous. I get $60 a day, except in LA, San Fran, Chicago, London, Tokyo and a few others wheres it goes up to $75. I remember when I first started here it was $45/day, but we were limited by meal - $5 for breakfast, $15 for lunch and $25 for dinner. Now we just get the limit and can split it up any way we want, but need receipts for everything, so it's not a per diem. So with that system it's especially nice when the client pays because it means more to spend on dinner! ^

Based on that you must be talking about the further south hub.

My company limit is $42 a day, and it is strictly enforced. A co-worker had to go through quite a time consuming process to pay back a $2-3 overage. :rolleyes:

Too right! Can you imagine trying to buy dinner in a hotel in NYC for $30. ROFL.

This is a small client I work for, and so I understand their restrictions. I usually try to book hotels that have free breakfasts, and snack at lunch and then buy a reasonable dinner, often subsidizing it myself. But, I don't really mind. I like the client, and they really appreciate what I do for them, so it makes me feel good and I consider it my "paying it forward" as I have plenty of clients who have $125 limit for dinner!!!

Unfortunately no - the bottles and package went out to recycling this morning. I am just saying, it takes a lot for me to pitch beer...

Jack Daniels 1866 Amber Lager and John Harvard's Peppercorn Rye Bock are the two I've pitched in my drinking career.

My client is based there. Look at it this way: at least you can continue the fine tradition of mostly RJ flying you seem to have started. ;)
