The fact that they serve pork knuckle makes it get my vote. The music may be a negative though; It'll feel like we went to Medieval Times.

They do love their pork knuckle in that part of the world. I had a very tasty one last year in Stuttgart, which went quite well with the mountain of warm German potato-salad and litres of Hefe that accompanied it. :D

I got to pull the bacon out and get it thawed (everything in my fridge is almost frozen, is ti the weather??)

Kitschy, no doubt. However, I think they can lay a bit better claim to authenticity than Medieval times in Los Angeles. Besides, there's something to the idea of pulling your own tankard of ale, and being served by lusty wenches in period costume. :-:

:D I saw that as well. I'm not sure if that's available to any group that comes in or only an option for official groups that set up a group menu and everything. I will inquire when I make the reservation online.
