For those of you so inclined, Sparkfun.com is having a sale today where the first 1000 users get $100 toward anything on the site. I suggest setting up an account and cart before the offer goes live at 11AM EST.

it says to me, IS NOT POSSIBLE

SparkFun Electronics has been temporarily closed while necessary upgrades are installed and configured.
Please be patient and check back soon. We're working tirelessly to make this down time as brief as possible.

Never heard of them - anything worth trying to get?

The site seems to be offline right now, so no luck in setting up an account...

Heh, their site has been getting hammered the last 24 hours. They probably took it down to reconfigure/add more capacity to their systems. It should be back up within the hour. They sell a lot of electronic parts and GPS stuff. I'm going for a GPS controller to be used my near-space balloon efforts. :-:

Wow. Great  think alike.

Maybe they will have a huge batch of frosty beer to sell this week, they can call it 'truly frost brewed in Shiner, TX' :D

My wife brought home one of the Magic Hat seasonal collection 12ers and one of the flavors was so awful it went down the drain. I wouldnt even cook with it!

So long as you don't claim that a six-year-old is stuck inside your balloon...

It's Internet Security 2009. The connection came back after reboot but the uninstaller is still running. I have about two more minutes to play with this otherwise I risk missing the correct choo-choo to get me into Philly.

I moved all of our antivirus and firewall stuff over to ESET and have not looked back. Yeah, its pay to play but it works well without sucking effort or performance.

Steph3n Jan 7, 2010 8:10 am

wow! I got to change the automatic flickr background wallpaper thing on my phone, I look at it to check an email and I got a naked lady on my phone, this phone is for work, and carry it around for work purposes and clients see it sometimes. gotta be careful.

That'll teach me for using the light version that picks random categories!

The santa hat...it was hardly coving anything that would prevent me from getting  looks from some.

LOL. Nah, I like my jeweler. He gave me great terms the first time around, and even honored a 10% off coupon on another purchase after my fiancee totally Shatnered him.

Norton eradication complete; time to get dressed and such.

Phudnik, I'm shooting for the 11:27 PATCO out of Woodcrest and into 8th and Market.

With any luck, I'll be on a train getting into Market East at noon.

ETA I was referring more to having to run an errand than about dealing with the jeweler.
