Yes sir; the last Sunday in February. Trip is 2/27-3/3.

I am not so keen on the BRKB split - the number of shares just looks wrong (as does the trading volume as Buffett predicted years ago - already 200 times greater than daily average).

Yeah I didn't think to ask. :) I'm just tickled to be in an ad - last thing I ever expected to happen. Especially (as I saw it) she had tons of better options.
I bought 5 copies - going to send them to my mother. :D |

The instructions don't use the words "teaching philosophy"...here's what they're asking for in the admission packet. Curiously, no hard cap on word count or page count either.

You can rent a car and park it at the Millbrae Bart deck for free. That way you don't have to take it in the city, but you can get around the rest of the area.
Plus, you can generally find street parking pretty easily in SF on weekends.

First consider the three / four primary reasons for graduate study from the professional development / career and personal growth perspective, not the "job" / "money" perspective. And I would say no more than 2 pages - even teaching philosophies are normally limited to 1 page.

Since EUA'able was a requirement, LIM is likely our best candidate.
There is a nice SFO-LIM fare still lingering, so we could do EWR-SFO-EWR-LIM-IAH-SFO-EWR. :D

Time for my insensitive statement of the week. I just saw a photo of NJ's new Gov. Wow! He's gotten even bigger since election day. He's going to keep the suit people busy at this rate provided he doesn't explode like Mr. Cresote after a nice thin chocolate waffer.

Okay, I am back. The last few days have produced a lot of drama. Everything came to a head when Trustguy's dad passed away yesterday at age 81. Today we made the funeral decisions and I am feeling a bit better.
Just to indulge myself, my father first encouraged me to seek status on AA, he himself was a lifetime AA Platinum, and he had set foot on every continent (yes, it is true). As an unexperienced Kettle, dad let me know about the upgrade possibilities with my status, etc. He had some close calls within the last few months -- we had a trip during one of his hospitalizations and his only comment was -- "upgrade?"! Today during our lunch after the funeral planning, my brother indulged us with a story on how, when brother was in college, dad routed him on flights from DEN-ABQ-PSP-BUR, because they were cheaper than DEN-BUR. This was in the early 1980's -- my dad rocked! I later discovered FT, and I almost caught up with dad. In looking through his records, he has an Expert Flyer membership. He always seemed to know when I was upgraded. :) Thanks for indulging me... :-: |

Because it's the first EuroBeer DO photo that exists of me where I don't look like a total, complete, irredeemable numpty. Now, the Karaoke photo does have its place (such as inspiring Box Denizens to Swedish video-editing strokes of genius), but  conquers all. :-:

Looks like Conan just hit his payday, and so did his staff whom he had to battle for. Plus it is reported that he is supplementing their severance packages out of his own pocket, which is pretty cool.
