Many people in SoFL are quite picky about this as well.

My roommate from Florida lived in Lighthouse Point, on the IC, he told me never to call it Inter or face

Biggest downside is dealing with the  that is South Beach. I can't stand that place...

My wife and I ate at Grazie with Hartmann and his wife a few months ago. IMO, the food was decent but nothing to write home about. The service was rather mediocre as well. They did have a decent wine list though.

I'm not sure I'd recommend eating anywhere in South Beach, but that's just me.

The restaurant at the W is pretty good and now STK opened at Gansevoort South, I like the NYC and LA versions.

I ate there with the owner, it probably makes a different all around. ;)
I am not fan of soBe either, that is why I moved out of that entire area.
Also why I don't use any coastal hotels.

Lack of parking is maddening!

I'd consider going to South Beach for the W, but that's mostly just because I like Ws.

IMO, South Beach is almost like Jersey Shore with more money and .

The W is on 23rd, a bit north of the Jersey Shore Area

Of course not.

That is entirely unacceptable. The idea of switching AmExes to SPG is slowly growing in my head. That gives me an excuse to burn the Hilton points and go thru the yeggggh of learning a new rewards program.

I saw that, but was hoping for another option. I'm a pragmatist at heart and hate having only one choice if I can help it.

 I did know it was Intracoastal, and my brain let me down, as it sometimes does. :o

There is another East Coast US hub, you know. ;)

Great lunch with a great Boxer. Phudnik has shed the cloak of mystery and shown himself, and we can only hope that he is available more frequently, and available to larger group of us. :-: Many thanks again for your most enjoyable company, sir. ^^

Lunch was a lot of fun; thanks for coming into the city. As you know, availability to the larger group depends on weekday travel and/or availability of inexpensive babysitters on the weekend... The  sign may yet go up next week.

Correct?

I would say so, and maybe add another ">" in there. The European ones tend to be more crowded but the food and drink are much better.

It looked like they had migrated up to 23rd the last time I was down there... :(

Does anyone watch Shatner's Raw Nerve? Last night I caught the one with Gene Simmons and I found it to be a better than average interview show.

Correct?

Not always, In FRA sometimes they are almost identical and the SEN lounge is usually more crowded.
But for the most part yes the SEN is better.

Thanks! I have plenty of time to lounge hop a little in FRA so I will check out both options. In DUS, I will probably just stick to the SEN lounge.

They keep opening and closing lounges in FRA for construction, so you might have to explore a little. Are you going via FRA and returning via DUS?

I know a giant set of bridge plans in NJ that says Inter. I of course learned it was Intra from someone from near Boca.

I've seen it a couple of times. It's a good show and he gets good guests.
