If you're talking about MEX monsoon season, I actually find it kind of nice. It usually rains really heavy for 30 minutes in the afternoon and the rain cleans the air.

PTY's moonson season coupled with the heat. I can see the advantage of it in MEX. It's all part of the adventure.^

Fortunately, I believe the Box has much experience with roaming the Irish and Scottish dells and pubs

 I always think of Russia when I hear the term, "Motherland."

I just noticed a major downside for my MEX MR. I'm going in monsoon season. You Feb and March people are going in dry season.

So? Bring a raincoat!

I can only laugh out loud right now.

About an hour ago, I called Copa Airlines to try to make a change to my reservation, since the fare is long dead. Anyways, the agent cancelled out my ticketed flights, then found out - right at the time of physically making the change - that I cannot make the requested change. Of course, my seats did not go back into the upgrade class (Z), so now I'm in Coach for all 4 segments again. He claims his supervisor will not authorize an "overbook" of Z class (which is what CO would do in this situation on their own flights provided the FC cabin is not sold out), so I'm potentially screwed on everything but PTY-JFK.

My only saving grace is that I'm Plat, so I stand a good to excellent chance of getting upgraded at time of check-in, but then again PTY-MEX-PTY is a major business market, and the JFK-PTY may be oversold, so who knows?

 what was so important to change?!

When changing a CO ticket during a weather waiver, do the new travel dates need to satisfy all requirements of the original fare rules? Minimum stay, dates of travel, etc?

I got my Dyson on woot for about $225 and it is the BEST vacuum I have ever owned. After three years it has lasted longer than any vacuum I have had before. Works great on pet hair.

At first I was going to change the date, but then the agent posed options that would allow me to fly into/out of EWR on CM-coded, CO-operated flights instead. Well, he of course canceled out the upgraded held on the Copa flights, and when booking the CM-coded Continental flights, only then found out the change could not be made without repricing (CM does not consider EWR/JFK coterminal for pricing purposes).

BTW, I'm now on the line with a Copa supervisor to see what can be done. In the meantime, I can only Laugh. Out. Loud.
