I'm transiting IAH Terminal B tomorrow, and again on Wednesday, about 45min each time...

I will note that most of my books are still in boxes a year later. It sucked moving them and to huff through the airport with all the luggage, but I guess that's the price you pay for being cheap.

It wasn't fun when I was moving out to MSP and dealing with 3 70 lb. bags, plus my rollaboard and briefcase, which was probably another 60 lbs. combined. All in all, the luggage was about twice my weight.

I'm back -- I bought the components of office gift items, and the lovely Lisa picked up on my idea and is assembling them -- total cost, about $4.50 -- visually, about $15. Does that indicate some sort of value I place on the workplace?

Passengers at PHL are putting scareways through the ringer tonight. They understand the issues but are slamming their people for a genearl lack of desire and willingness to communicate anything to the passengers.

My wife is off for two weeks but I have to work.

Night, Box. :)

That's about what I spent on the office (for each of six different people) but they were items that have a higher perceived value.

! SUCCESS

Made it to DC. Shennaigans-a-million but I made it. Resorted to plan E, which may or may not have involved me wearing a nice sweater

I saw all the teasers on TV before switching over to the football game. And this is the second Sunday in a row this BNA-area resident had to drive in snow/ice past PHL. Seems like more than a week since the Hockey Do ...

Thanks for validating our thought -- a little creativity with a Costco gift item = good office karma.

BTW, we went to store today, and I got Beck's rebate -- I thought of you! $60 groceries; $8 back on beer. 8 days of food...

Precisely - you had to buy groceries anyway and essentially got a six-pack thrown in ^

It does seem like that was more than a week ago.

I forgot to put the trash can out to the end of the driveway so I just ran out to do it now with just a sweat shirt. I shivering now as the trip outdoors took longer than expected due to ice.
