Sadly for Plats, Hyatt Plat Extras still have a separate counter that are based upon actual stays. Does get one close to diamond quickly though ^

I am torn on the Waikiki nights -- I have held a pretty good rate there with AAA breakfast, and if I can use a suite upgrade, I will do that. I will have 5 FFN's to burn, and the lovely Lisa can't take vacation until after April 15 (she works for an accountant firm). I'm not sure what I will do, unless I can get a good long weekend Europe rate on AA for an MR + FFN stay.

I thought the FFNs were only redeemable until the end of March!:confused:

No PH EZE or PH SYD during their summers? The MR would solely be to benefit the family and you could affirm no enjoyment of either EZE or SYD.

Yeah -- I may be burning mine on my own, unless HGP grants extensions, which apparently got out of control last year. If AA runs another double miles promo plus, say a triple RDM promo (like BOS3X last year), I may do some runs with them.

I did run into that issue two double-stay promotions ago. Taking the points and abusing FFN is excellent.
