*8* checked bags.. wow! :D That's more than I've checked ever. :)

And I'm upset to be checking a single bag for the europe trip, unless I automagically find a replacement 21" between now and Friday.

My Christmas presents this year are simple - some QC15 headphones (goes in briefcase), some pants/jeans/shirts (go in my checked bag), some other smaller things, and cash. My rule is, if it doesn't fit in my suitcase, it's a PITA.

I am trying to live a better FlyerTalker life and striving to avoid the checking of bags at all. The only stuff that I will check without a complaint are the items that I know must be checked, like firearms and golf clubs.

And I can try to get a few in DCA, DTW, AMS, CDG, and ATL if there's specific photos missing - let me know.

I'll be glad to grab some photos of the PC and SC in BOS and the MSP SCs this month (as well as any other lounges I hit up).

Any and all photos are MUCH appreciated! Of the ones listed above I think I only have from DCA and then only the AA l:rolleyes:unge.

Hope you feel better, baglady. My wife has been sick a few weeks now, too, and I'm desperately hoping she can get over it before I drag her across the Atlantic 4 times in 12 days.

The primary reason I'm checking a bag is because my parents want me to move a bunch of stuff out of their house as they prepare to move, and checking bags is a lot cheaper than UPS'ing stuff to Minnesota.

Other than that, the only other trip I have coming up that will require checked bags is when I go to FLL in February and check my golf clubs.

I plan on taking 3 checked bags on a trip next year, but only one for me, others for sister who has been away for a year and wants some things 'imported'

i am just going to take my carry on and part of one for myself, then buy some cheap bags for the rest of the stuff, if she wants me to bring some items bag I will do so, otherwise i plan on leaving the extra 2 bags there for her to dispose of or give away.

Guys behind me are so fed up at US they organized a charter jet out of Teterboro. It amazes me this airline hasn't screwed over every single person in the US by now.

Let's hope I can get to DC and back without too much

Sounds like I just missed you at LGA. Remind me again, why are you willingly flying US?!?!?!

SBM12 - I can email you a few from the MAD Terminal 4 Ib lounge - not the best but you can see if they work. How best to submit? (did ya mention that already? :))

BL - hope you feel better!
