Are you at least partaking in their free Bud Light and boxed wine?

Boxed wine makes me sleezy so I'm stickin with Bud Light.

Amtrak is a "plan D" tomorrow. Although I'd hope by tomorrow evening things are somewhat resuming normalcy.

Greetings from ACY. I'm on the 28th (of 30) floors and my window box is the one that looks out towards the ocean and down the Boardwalk toward Bally's.

I should note I drove 542 miles (plus a few "vicinity miles") today. The worst miles? The first two in CMH (snowed there last night as well) and the last 10 in ACY. The 530 miles in between were clear except for service stations. In ACY, it was apparent when one stopped paying tolls

anyone know of a place I could leave a laptop at IAH on 12/23 and pick-up 12/29?

Welcome to snowy New Jersey.

We rewarded ourselves for the sweat in the snow over the last 36 hours.

Yup. Onions sauteeing in bacon fat. :-: We took this bacon and onions and laid it on a handmade half-pound turkey burger.

Said turkey burgers in the pan:

Topped and ready for consumption - lettuce, bacon, mayo, ketchup, onions, crushed red pepper.

Glad you made it. Sorry we couldn't get together. It occurred to me way too late that you could have stopped at the apartment for dinner. :(

I was the advance road condition scout for icurhere2, who is by now I would think somewhere in NJ and almost to ACY. Dinner = Is Not Possible.

I was on the road a total of 8.5 hours (counting toll plazas and the three stops). And you missed a good dinner - pork chops, NY strip, and a quick stir-fry in the condo. Also copious amounts of Coca-Cola products and eventually Woodford.
