Hello from York, NE. Day 1 of the roadtrip (which for me will last 3) down - 442 miles in exactly 6 hrs, which isn't too bad.

I got to check off TWO more states on my list today (WY and NE).

Nebraska is an ENORMOUS state, and there's yet more to go (tomorrow we go to Chicago).

Night, Box.

No, I was out at a friends house, they made home made pizza, and after some wine a few of us decided it was time to make snow angels. I just walked home and It feels like morning, it is really bright out in the street with all the white snow.

I am hoping no heavy few, snow, or rain outside tonight here. I have 8 80lb bags on concrete laid out for work in morning.

My girl friend, the almost out of work TV news reporter, would like to kill you for that statement. She is so tired of the young beauty queens, with zero experience, getting all of the new jobs.

I definitely wasn't requesting the beauty queen/king replacement(they have a hard time procouncing foriegn names.;)). I was just thinking that there has to be some experienced person at say 45-55 years of age(similar to Brian Williams at NBC) who can sit there and read the news and do the occasional good interview.

Could really use your shoveling services, here!:D At least SUV can drive on teh snow -- problem is when it starts melting & freezing -- then driveway becomes difficult to negotiate!

Looks like we have at least a foot here -- but it's hard to tell, as it's drifted all over the place! I'll certainly know when I step out to go to church! I know that southern NJ near the shore got socked w/20+ inches!

I know you guys in upstate NY usually get a ton of snow -- obviously this N'oreaster did not want to visit you this time!:D
