Did you think the movie was worth all the money they spent to make it and was it revolutionary?

I've been told I'd make a great news reader after my 2007 holiday video. Of course that was the Brits and none are in the industry. Last week there was one newer news reader in NYC who charged ahead and said CHanukkah like she was some expert on it. She said it 3 times in a row. I'm sure her ear piece went nuts because after the weather she dropped hard CH

Where is the next stop for you and your knives?

So far the only destination is MRY for the ATT tournament. If no job is procured by end of Jan. I will be storing stuff and heading to BNA area to stay with adopted brother there. In fact I just got some good deals BNA-SFO with the 1.25 elite bonus for fares at 3 and 4 cents a mile. Not bad! Even got to do one ways so will get 400 miles for each ticket and $10 on CO.COM specials!!

I wouldn't mind finding something on the east coast if I could afford to live there.

talking about food network, I just followed a link from foodnetworkhumor to food network with comments about horrible dishes, one stuck me here:

First thing is that the recipe is so terrible they won't even show you till they have your email address captive! next is this comment:

I used a Turkey sweet italian sausage because of my vegetarian brother-in-law. These look pale but taste great. My friends and family love them. I served them with "Thai Sweet Chili Sauce" that I found in the asian section of my midwestern super-mart.

Sorry there Ms Vicki, TURKEY is not vegetarian! If your BIL ate it he is not 'vegetarian' or you lied to him when he asked 'so is it vegetarian'

hahahahahaha New York Strip Steak with chocolate merlot?! NO WAY!!!! Sandra Lee says it is great, but never trust this woman.

I am trying to fly from MRY this summer on CO/UA. Co.com says no flights avaliable. I tried calling the elite line (LOL - I know not the day to do that) but didnt get through (surprise surprise). Does any one know if CO codeshares on the UA MRY-SFO/LAX flights?

CO isn't working for all codeshares yet, I know I tried to get some to pull yesterday :( looks like INTL CS works, but otherwise no/limited. With the great snowstorm of 09 I'd not expect to get through, and if you do get through ans ask about this I'd expect major

oh wow, food network is the gift that keeps on giving!

Here is a Driver friendly cocktail...RIGHT!!!!

http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/s...ipe/index.html

it has vodka, and by a youtube clip I just saw, a 'splash' of vodka for this lady is only a couple shots instead of a whole bottle.

I generally have the same reaction to Sandra Lee that Kramer had to Mary Hart.

Do you really think you will be able to stay awake watching the Br:rolleyes:wns play the Chiefs, especially with an early morning wake up call?

I learned last night that Eric Mangini is Mark Shapiro's brother-in-law. (Shapiro is the GM of the Indians, for those not from CLE or who do not follow baseball.) That is my Fact For The Day.

I don't mind the snow shoveling -- decent exercise, the cold is bracing, there are usually other people on the street digging out their driveways at the same time so it's moderately social -- but raking leaves is . I guess I need a leaf blower to do the job properly, but they're obnoxious.

Cool. Now all the the Albany "International" signage was worth it.;) I wonder if they let them off the plane.

They must have. PHL was essentially closed yesterday afternoon, having gotten 16" of snow.

Good morning, Box.

Significant shopping accomplished this morning. New bag for all the dive gear (needed for Egypt trip this week) and new mask for the same. Plus I even shoveled a bit of snow this morning to help make out sidewalk passable. Super came out later with his snowblower and the sidewalk now has more snow on it than when I did it this morning.

Xyzzy Dec 20, 2009 10:15 am

Afternoon, b:rolleyes:x ... after about 2 hours with the snowblower, our driveway is done -- along with those of a few neighbors. I'm now ready to drive to Springfield, MA to deposit our 13 year old with his uncle (that's about the halfway point between our houses) ...

Olton Hall Dec 20, 2009 10:18 am

Digging out took longer than expected. The snow was semi wet and it kept clogging the snow blower shoot if I didn't have a constant stream of snow going though it. About 11 inches in total. Here's today's photo of what I got
