...Anyone want to go dig my car out at ABE? We fly home tomorrow and I don't have a shovel in the trunk.
I had parked at Avistar EWR and their guys shoveled out the cars for the customers. It did take them an hour to get mine out since there were a few people ahead of me but it certainly was better than doing my own digging. :D Franny made me give those guys a big, big tip and I figured it was really worth it. Driving home that day was still . |

Digging out took longer than expected. The snow was semi wet and it kept clogging the snow blower shoot if I didn't have a constant stream of snow going though it. About 11 inches in total. Here's today's photo of what I got

We got a lot more than that. It was so high in places that our rather large snowblower was about 6 inches under the top of the snow in places!

Avistar is a complete rip off. They'd better shovel your car out for the prices they charge.

Morning Box!
Had an amazing night. The S/O works for a small company, and last night the management team was taken out for a surprise evening. We started out at Sushi Rock and has some great sushi. We were then given tickets to Trans Siberian Orchestra at the Q. The real surprise is that we were in the front row. Seeing something like that from the front was really amazing, and even though I didn't know much of their music before I went, I'm a definite fan now. The entire thing was cool as h*ll! I posted some pics on FB. It was a great night! |

Well it is going to be a struggle to get out today. Don't know if I should wear shorts or jeans as it is only 50 here. Ah the heat wave!! :D

I wouldn't mind finding something on the east coast if I could afford to live there.

I did make it to church this morning -- was able to park right across the street, as no one is really going out around here!^ |

I've got Stevie Ray Vaughan at City Limits 1989 on right now. SRV is one of the few things that can take my attention away from hockey.

Good morning (afternoon) Box! Right now the band is trying to decide if we should have a practice today. We're all semi-local except our singer who lives down the shore. I think we'll probably bag it for her sake. |
