My last experience leaving a car at the airport when a large snowstorm hit was a pleasure.

I had parked at Avistar EWR and their guys shoveled out the cars for the customers. It did take them an hour to get mine out since there were a few people ahead of me but it certainly was better than doing my own digging. :D

Franny made me give those guys a big, big tip and I figured it was really worth it. Driving home that day was still .

We got a lot more than that. It was so high in places that our rather large snowblower was about 6 inches under the top of the snow in places!

Avistar is a complete rip off. They'd better shovel your car out for the prices they charge.

I had a big drift at the top of the driveway plus the snow plow drift at the bottom. The top one I just did that in layers but I had to use the snow shovel to chop the one at the bottom down to size.

But as the Mastercharge ads say, that service that day was "priceless." :)

Morning Box!

Had an amazing night. The S/O works for a small company, and last night the management team was taken out for a surprise evening. We started out at Sushi Rock and has some great sushi. We were then given tickets to Trans Siberian Orchestra at the Q. The real surprise is that we were in the front row.

Seeing something like that from the front was really amazing, and even though I didn't know much of their music before I went, I'm a definite fan now. The entire thing was cool as h*ll!

I posted some pics on FB. It was a great night!

Wow- sounds like it was a great night!^

wow, the TSO is awesome! I also really like Mannheim Steamroller around christmas, both of them really add a new life to the normal 'christmas music'

Well it is going to be a struggle to get out today. Don't know if I should wear shorts or jeans as it is only 50 here. Ah the heat wave!! :D

I think you got a bit more than we did up here in NNJ! I spent a 1/2 hr. shoveling some of the end of the driveway where the plow made their deposit. I also shoveled some steps. Will have to go out & do some more & put some salt down -- but the sun is out -- so hoping that'll help!:-:

I did make it to church this morning -- was able to park right across the street, as no one is really going out around here!^

If I move to a major city on the east coast I am considering leaving my car in Houston with my parents! Or if I get a good job and a vacation home in Las Vegas then I would house the car there!!

Thanks for that!

Good morning (afternoon) Box! Right now the band is trying to decide if we should have a practice today. We're all semi-local except our singer who lives down the shore. I think we'll probably bag it for her sake.
