How are our NE boxers handling the Blizzard of 09?

Been in bed for 2 days with a virus that has developed into at least bronchitis. Back to the dr. tomorrow. I've been taking BL JR's cough medicine (amped up the dose of course) which makes me very, very tired.

Freaking out over how much I have to do in the next three days and hoping tomorrow will find me feeling better and with some energy!

I just got back from Palm Springs. Traffic was really  but I got through -- of course it was nowhere near what you folks back east are dealing with...

Isn't traffic generally ?

The better half wanted to make a test batch for her first time and they turned out good and now we have way too many.

I'll mention it to Plus1. Sounds yummy! Plus1 and BL JR are at the neighbors for a dinner party. I'm having Utz pub mix.

:td: being sick sucks, I have had a sinus infection for 3 weeks, finally it is gettting over with now.

Of course travel between 5 different major weather/environment systems during that time did no good.

Sickness at this time of year is the absolute worst...too much to get done, too little time and sickness makes it even worse...hopefully it clears out soon.

Here on the North Shore of Boston, we got 7 inches of light, powdery snow. Wasn't bad at all shoveling it this afternoon.

Plus1 took BL JR to our neighborhood Christmas party. Our neighbor, whom BL JR knows quite well, played Santa. She told Santa what she wanted, etc. and Plus1 asked her about her talk with Santa. She replied in a hushed tone "Daddy, it wasn't Santa, it was Dennis". Fortunately, she didn't tell any of her friends to ruin things. We had debated whether to tell her or not beforehand but Plus1 decided to just tell her Santa was very busy and that he had helpers as Santa. It's going to be very hard when she no longer believes in Santa; what will we threaten her with?

If anything will kill that virus, you have found it. We will not mention what it will do to your digestive system.

I thought I had a sinus infection gone awry. I went to the dr. Fri and tested negative for strep; she said it was probably some virus and to let her know if I got worse. Of course I got worse on the weekend  Hopefully a steroid shot will get me going.

There are only three things I eat out of it. I pour a bowl and 9/10s of the bowl is left.

My dad was so bad doc gave him some cortisone, then he thought he was great and worked under the house for 3 days, sicker than ever after that.

Hope you get better soon.

:D

I had a dream she flew as an UM. I feel sorry for whomever has to sit next to her on her real first UM flight.
