Cheap. He assigns an arbitrary value he conjured up in his own head to something and agonizes over paying any more than that for anything. He is the guy who argues with sales people to get better prices on things. The virtues of that depend on one's point of view, I suppose. I like to believe I'm thrifty but I also believe sometimes stuff costs money.

I'm back in the Box after a multi-day absence and no patience for all the technical problems the site was having late last week and over the weekend.
