Ok my plat story. I am supposed to go to atl tomorrow. I don't really need to go, because the people that needede to go rescheduled the meeting for the start of the year and are paying to reschedule the trip.

To add into this my ex suddenly wants to "hang out" when I am back in Atlanta. Now this could be ^ or  there really is no predicting.

The total cost for going to atl would be the price of a hotwire hotel, meals, and loitering with my ex.

The benefits would be plat for the new year and loitering with my ex.

wwtbd?

Now if I go

Box:

I have not got a chance to read the string yet, but if CO folks are getting UA domestic upgrades that means that UA's vast Hawaii flights should be in play correct? I like the BF product to the islands, but personally, I would be just as ok with a cheap ticket free upgrade on a UA 777 domestic to the islands as well. I know that if certain folks posted in teh Box, I would get roasted for the heresy.;)

I'm fairly certain that US customer relations no longer has a telephone number. They are pushing everyone to contact them by e-mail. I remember reading something about this in the US forum or on usaviation some time back.

With today's announcement, I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up accruing to CO after the changes are implemented:
(1) I fly CO, UA, and US roughly equally
(2) As a 1P, I'll never see the front cabin on UA, whereas I'll still get E+ as a CO Gold/Plat
(3) 100k EQM is unlikely, but 75k is doable, meaning better upgrade priority
(4) Better rewards availability on CO (right?)
(5) Grocery miles keep my UA account alive until I can draw it down

The only downside I see is that US Y/B fares get 100% EQM with CO vs. 150% with UA. If I spend that much money on US, I deserve to be penalized.

Any faults with my logic?

The "vault" happens to be my home safe. However, I like having the PDF because it lets me easily communicate with online customer service when necessary.

IMO, teh cat is out of teh bag on Teh Box. Then again, in lieu of saying that EUA is broken, there's always the video clip. :-:

Yes, CM getting to "teh crux" of it as usual. Without casting aspersions, indeed certain "entitlement feelings" and braggadocio for the ability to exploit loopholes really at the end of day is nothing more than a big bag of .

In other news, coming at Y'all from the SC in JFK upstairs in T-2 waiting on flight to SFO in an hour or two.

I do try to be brief and to the point, seeing as how those who practice the opposite school of thought seem to be prevalent in the forums. :D

Excellent summation. Many fora and even more personalities could not sustain such a unique and beautiful little slice of Intertoobz heaven such as we have here.

None that I can see, so long as you are being honest with yourself re: your travel habits.

Of course it is. My "vault," in the sense I used it, was in relation to Box required sense (b) in my post above.

No travel this weekend. Must fend off the shakes with thoughts of three new lines and a new type next week.

An excellent point, understanding irony and humor are important. ;)

I suppose it may be akin "Rain on your wedding day." <roll snare drum>

Of course, I suppose that it is ironic that a generation thinks from the above statement that they know what irony is, when in fact, that is not ironic at all. The fact that someone thinks something is ironic when it is not in fact, may very well be ironic. "dont' ya' think?":D
