MAD T4 IME works pretty well as an airport terminal as well -- the only problem is that it's pretty far away from the rest of the airport -- unlike, say, the Saarinen terminal at JFK or IAD. The main terminal at DEN is pretty interesting, too, at least from the outside.

It does at least house all the OneWorld carriers. Like DTW no one really cares about connections between non-alliance carriers. What supriused me the most is that FR flies into MAD.

Good morning everyone! I couldn't stop myself from checking in to see if things work today. We are headed to USC-Stanford game shortly.

 my preferred commands are via CLI. GUI just gets in the way!

DEN is interesting yes, but has some functional issues at times. IAH is functional except for A and parts of B, E looks somewhat nice, DFW is nice in parts and generally functional as an airport (can't say so much about the airline that is in most of it)

LGA is neither nice looking or functional :D LAX the same.

I have to disagree DFW not so funtional. As an O/D airport it is great, but try making a connection.

Nice.^ I just kept playing with ITA trying to design the most ridiculous routes I could from CLT to anywhere.:D

I had no issues making a connection unless I was coming in from the "AA luxury liner" bus 2 hours late out of ABI....

I find the train to be quite good in getting you where you need.

Yep, the train has worked well for me when I had to change terminals at DFW.

+1, as the only mainline to CLT on AA is to/from DFW, I do most of my connecting there, and with Skylink, it makes connections pretty easy IMHO and certainly no worse than is the monster that is ATL.:td: I grant that DFW (like Texas itself :D) is big, but for the most part, I find it very user friendly! YMMV

The key is two stops per terminal, so you only have a short walk once you get off the train.

What I'm referring to was your staying on the air in the thick of the incoming DDoS yesterday. I was able to get on via a link to an archived (hundreds of pages ago) link, and then up to last page, but not log in. All there was in the afternoon was your posts.

It was like a war correspondent broadcasting from a surrounded bunker. ALCO should award you some title for affecting continuity in the face of electronic chaos.

Is the DFW train a Monorail of Death™ like ATL's? I have transited DFW before, but was so young that I don't recall if I was on the train or not.

No, it's an above terminal train a la TerminaLink at IAH except not nearly as crappy.

I don't have any problem with ATL's monorail. And, unlike in some modern airports, you can comfortably walk if anything happens to it.

BTW, let us know when you post in the UA forum. With your signature, there should be some interesting replies.
