Did he tell you he could not transfer you because the number for that department has been ported to another carrier? :p

There's a name for that: non-medicated suicidal. I'm genuinely surprised that someone unfamiliar with the airport has not sued after falling over due to the hard start or stop.

I used to be pretty good surfing the PATH on the NewarkPenn-WTC line.

Speaking of PATH, does anyone remember the conductor that used to make his calls like he was on the Broadway Limited of the 1940's? ("Exchaaaaaaange Place!") His name was George Wolfangle, and he was a legend. You almost got the equivalent of a pre-flight announcement on departure. He was great.

I took my kids to IAD about two months ago so they could experience them. I think the train is still in testing and is due to go into service VERY soon.

Oh -- the landside train at DUS is rather interesting. It hangs down from the top and swings out around turns!

I wonder if IAH will rename the underground choo-choo the XYZZY Express? :D

I enjoyed the moon buggy experience at IAD if only because I was not expecting it when I arrived there. It was different, and that's ok. ^

What an unusual design... http://www.vidoemo.com/yvideo.php?du...FTcWuRpRDY1VUE (weird site, but it showed up in the Google video search)

The BD call center is a complete disaster. I don't think I've ever encountered such rude, unhelpful agents.

So far, I have yet to be able to book a flight on any carrier on which the major search tools show availability.

Outsource your efforts to ALCO!

I could not resist and, lets face it, events like that chuckle pulled all of us closer together at 'Do 1.

The IAH train in its current form reminds me of the kiddie mall train during the holidays.
