We pretty much always wrap gifts in the brown wrapping paper (with string) or use bags.
I'll admit to using gift wrap for most things, although gift bags get pulled out on occasion. |

My mother is the gift wrapping queen. She worked for years in high school and college at Foley's as a professional gift wrapper during the holiday season. You won't see any gift bags under her Christmas tree, and certainly nothing in brown paper. If something showed up wrapped like that, she'd probably take it and re-wrap it for you.

hehe, if you get a gift from me its probably a gift card and you would be lucky to even get a card with it. This drives my wife crazy but its a waste of money buying all that crap to go with it. I'd rather get a $25 gift card with out all the BS than a $20 gift card with a Hallmark card and all the BS.

I've not smelled it in probably 30 years, but I won't forget it either!
Based on the number of years she inhaled that stuff, I'm surprised it didn't put her in an early grave. |
