Thanks, Rolov. I was looking at a Viper on BestBuy.com. I think I will go for that one because I can order it online through ebates and get a 1% rebate, use my PP MC and get the miles, and can pick it up in the local store to save shipping!

If you go through 'shopOnePass' you get miles there, too, in addition to the ones w/PP MC!^

Perhaps develop the post in memopad, then copy and paste into Bolt?

Good failsafe idea in case Bolt eats everything, but just in principle I would rather complain that Bolt ate the post rather than add a step to what should be a painless and thought-free workflow.

Now I'm number two on the upgrade list, with two open seats. Still eight hours until the flight. Guess I better get ready to suck it up and enjoy 14F for my ride to Houston tonight.

Or you can do what I did, and go for a phone that doesn't suck when it comes to web browsing. I love BlackBerry for its flawless integration with e-mail, contacts, and calendars, but when it comes to the Web, even their newest models with OS 5 are fairly sucktastic in the web browsing department.

Just off the phone with LH about PRG flights. Learned that they dont pre-assign inter Europe flights (its a European thing). Also they outsource their phone agents. Had a nice young man with an Aussie accent. may have to call back and double check my booking ;)

I thought you had already been down under?

Where are you again?

Now in SEA to start NRT trip.
was coming from RDU yesterday. Flight 1888 went MX at about 9:10(due out at 7:40), there was a scheduled 9:40 as well to SEA(467) as soon as we pulled back to jetway and they let us de-plane, I crossed to the E35 service center, Agent put me on standby for the 9:40. No update on what was to happen to the 1888 passengers was due till 9:45. Was taking no chances on not getting to SEA. With all the weekend weather issues wasn't sure if they'd have a spare 739 hanging around. I chose the sure thing and boarded a fairly empty 467 and snagged 5A.

My Luggage has since caught up with me

Been there, done that. With the right crowd it can be a lot of fun. Or it can be kindof skeezy watching burnt out old hippie guys hitting on underage girls by getting them drunk and high.

Nothing that held up in court, thankfully

They have a 2 hour delay posted. What's the issue?
You can ask to be taken off the flight and rebooked for tomorrow if you feel uncomfortable about flying. I have people do it all the time and I don't question their fear and just rebook them.

See above but thanks for suggestion

honestly I don't think it is bolt, I think it is flyertalk. My firefox( and opera for that matter)and pre hang 60% of the time when posting to FT only, but on them you can refresh and it either reposts, or loads to the proper page.

colpuck Dec 22, 2009 8:53 am

My cable modem/router keeps blocking FT for some reason. I keep having to reset it.

Her husband.

In my case I also had issues because some of the contracts had my middle initial and some didn't. So I had to manually add that in on every instance and initial it. All in triplicate, of course. That was incredibly nerve-racking, especially as a first-time buyer.

Glad that you made it to SEA. Have fun in Tokyo. How many days are you there?

No kidding. We had a little assembly line going of the realtor and mortgage broker handing me each page, I signed, handed it to my partner, he signed, and then our attorney reassembled it on the other side. 30 minutes and a million signatures and initials later and we shook hands and got the keys. Now, almost two years later, I'm still quite glad we did it. There are days when I miss being able to call a landlord to come fix something, and it gets done quickly and free of charge, but I love our space. We've often said that it's a shame we can't take our loft with us when we eventually move out of Atlanta.
