Live from the gas station. It is not too bad out. I have awd but there are all sorts of cars on road, I drove past highway and there were a lot more cars than I expected.

I've got Stevie Ray Vaughan at City Limits 1989 on right now. SRV is one of the few things that can take my attention away from hockey.

I saw SRV at the LA Sports Arena shortly before his death. Jeff Beck opened, if I remember correctly. What a great show!

Susan Tedeschi's Austin City Limits is a fantastic concert too.

My girl friend, the almost out of work TV news reporter, would like to kill you for that statement. She is so tired of the young beauty queens, with zero experience, getting all of the new jobs.

Well, after today's dinner I must conclude: propane + fire + ribeye = yummy!

This bit of wisdom, I offer, ye Box folk, as my 600th post in this section!

She just wants to use her experience and get a well paying job in the field of her choice. She hates that the TV news business is entertainment and not journalism.

It's not all entertainment. If it bleeds it leads. That's not journalism either.

Devils win despite a  first period that saw Brodeur get pulled.

They already tried that route and it didn't work. They considered Charlie earlier but they thought he was too old. That was an incorrect decision and they had to bring Charlie on board to get the ratings up.

Snow is coming down pretty good up my way now. About 3" on the back deck and the flow is pretty steady. Looking forward to playing in it tomorrow as I get my shopping done for Egypt and BCN.

I finally got to CMH. Just caught up on e-mail. Current conditions for PA Turnpike is not good, projecting well over 11 hours of driving tomorrow.
