My boards of late the win flash, and built in flash tool onboard that can read from usb/cd/hd etc for loading a bin to load up.

Only works when you're running a Mickey$oft platform though... and all of my internet-facing servers run OpenBSD. Hehehe.

you can probably find a way to run openbsd or netbsd directly off the mem stick....without a cpu or power supply if you hookup a kinetic energy generator :D (just kidding here!)

I made many a 486 into arachne and freedos web browser boxes at one point :D No idea why exactly except to a prove a point I guess, people actually liked them too!

I havent seen any on Amex cards....for buyer or end user, at kroger at least.
