My boards of late the win flash, and built in flash tool onboard that can read from usb/cd/hd etc for loading a bin to load up.

Only works when you're running a Mickey$oft platform though... and all of my internet-facing servers run OpenBSD. Hehehe.

Yep, I have a bootable stick I carry around in the laptop bag now.... It's just those older boxen that can't boot to USB yet.... but still run OpenBSD just fine. ;)

you can probably find a way to run openbsd or netbsd directly off the mem stick....without a cpu or power supply if you hookup a kinetic energy generator :D (just kidding here!)

My mother says I can get a job in the BS department anywhere in the world.

I think most mothers would say that about their sons. :-::D

My random post counts: 2280 in The Box and what ever it says on the left for FT.

Off to my Holiday party. Yum, wine and cookies.

Does anyone have any strange traditions for the Holidays?

My family has developed an obsession for Peanuts (the comic strip) greeting cards. Everyone in the family buys each other the cards, which gets quite amusing, since my brother and I seem to exchange identical cards each year. This was not a tradition with which we grew up -- it just sort of happened.

BTW, it is really difficult to find 8 different Peanuts cards now that Charles Schultz is dead...
