That beer caused me to get soooooo drunk that I discovered what a spinning bed felt like. :eek: And placing one's foot on the floor does not make the bed stop spinning but it does give you a head start for the bathroom. :D

Been in BCN now for about 6 hours. I'm in love. The food is great, the people are beautiful and the weather is perfect. Better if they stopped smoking so much - I forget what a blessing those laws are - but I'm a big fan.

Also super happy with the CO agents I dealt with today getting my reward changed. I went from CAI-IST-JFK to CAI-IST//BCN-BRU-LHR-EWR at the VERY last minute (after having flown CAI-IST) and the agent couldn't have been more helpful. I had to call back later to confirm and got the same one again and she was just as helpful (if not more) the second time around. A letter will definitely be going in to WeCare about her!

BCN is a great place - I think I preferred it over MAD.

As far as the smoking goes - my lungs are just clearing from our Thanksgiving trip to MAD. :D They are like chimneys - and nothing we can do about it, unfortunately.

I think there are ulterior motives here from the James family. Former quarterback Harrell has written a note to those "concerned" that James has always been one who wreaks of entitlement and always feels that he doesn't get adequate playing time. In my opinion he's lucky that he gets any playing time at all. No other school wanted him and Leach went out on a limb picking him up.

Tech fired Leach to save some money, in the end, it's going to cost them more.

Seeing Craig James on ESPN yesterday bad mouthing Leach did it for me. If he's going to use his position as a pulpit against the coach, then he's no better than the Little League dad who makes sure his son gets playing time because, "he sponsored the team".

The news outlets covering this fiasco make it sound like James was locked in a basement without food or water for days... It's beyond absurd.

Earlier today I was moaning I gained three lbs in the past week as I've been eating too many sweets. So what do I end up buying when I'm at the store? Reese holiday trees 6 pack 50% off. They are the best of the Reeses by the way.

I don't miss those days.

It may sound odd, but the best orange juice I've ever had was the freshly squeezed variety found in the food section in the basement of El Corte Ingles. They are all over Spain, but the one in BCN is particularly easy to find.

You are all making me wish I was in Spain right now instead of cold central Jersey.
