Not boarding yet. Can see teh gate from the lounge (where I've killed off their white whine and Baileys stockpiles). Doubt it is full. I'm glad this is a very long flight, so I'll be able to get a good sleep in before hitting IST.

I did take off the full goatee on Friday to at least partially resemble the photo on my passport. I think that was the last I shaved.

My passport photo looks like me...my old Mass drivers license didn't look like me at all, between not having shaved for a few days, not wearing glasses, etc.

It's not the worst photo I've taken but it comes close. I should have had the guy do it over again but it just wasn't worth it. It isn't a close up so I can tolerate it and give the passport control guys something to laugh about. :)

Our loads to CDG are packed tomorrow. There are a few seats to DUB and LHR. Lots of airline employees are trying to get to Europe as well.

My dad was the only person I know that has ever been stopped, in a train station in Italy, for a passport and bag inspection. :rolleyes: But he also looked like a hit man.
