I'm on the phone with :rolleyes:PSC. When I changed my return back at Christmas/New Years I went from an F reward to a C reward. They are insisting that they have no record of that change and that I have to mail in BPs to get the miles back. I'm struggling to get them to understand that the flights in question actually have no F cabin and that THEY issued the ticket so they should be able to see that. Next up I suppose I'll just ask them to refund the extra taxes I paid since obviously I never actually made the change to the new flights. Getting the $75/person back would be nice.

With that being said -- perhaps I'm overly optimistic but I don't see the death of our middle class like others are predicting. Yes, we'll lose the bulk of our manufacturing but we'll adapt and figure out how to move to an intellectual capital based economy. One thing the US is very good at is coming up with great ideas and having other people make them better. We just need to figure out a way to monetize that system into a sustainable economy. What frustrates me more than anything in regards to our current political system is at the State and lower level the corruption is astounding. The EO's serve to do nothing more than maintain their jobs. NYS, as an example, is perhaps the most inefficient organization that exists this side of BK (and we're close. Oh so close.). From a corporate perspective NYS should be obsolete, but because it's a government it doesn't have to change or adapt. Why? Because the people that would affect the change would essentially be putting themselves out of a job. And who, in their right mind, would want to do that. On the Federal level there's a healthy dose of corruption and vote pandering, but what kills me is the ideological rift that exists between Libs and the GOP. Yet, when you look at who actually gets elected, they're general very central. Why? Because the loons are a minority. I think a third party would achieve fantastic results if they pitched themselves as simply governing by common sense. Provide basic services (from a Federal level) that created jobs and kept our infrastructure in tact, without creating a tremendous deficit. Promote business and job creation without giving away the bank, and the farm. And let people do what they want to do as long as it doesn't harm others. (Essentially a social democrat and a fiscal Republican) (I had that all written down on my hand) |

It disappeared rather quickly. :)
IMO, there is nothing more beautiful, in the aviation world, than a 747 taking off or landing. ^

Yes and the train was derailed. Add to this the closing of one of the two westbound lanes of I-10 at I-45 and the traffic situation in downtown is an epic amount of
ETA: Metro needs to get some capable bus drivers. Their current bus drivers all seem to be maniacs who speed through red lights and are incapable of staying within their lanes. |
