I'd skip the EML and just get a regular seat. You get plenty of pitch even in the "regular" LOL seats on B6.

You mean it's not "Bone Crushing"? :D

SMF is, eh. I mean, would you go to Trenton? :)

With UA, why not book a PHL-DEN-SMF-SFO-SAN itin or something like that where you can get SMF in the FM.

I did graduate college in Trenton, sadly. :D

I will get around to taking advantage of UA routing rules...I'm just hesitant to fly UA because I'm more than likely going to be one of those people who buys Extra Mile every year.

Indeed. No chiropractor required. ;)

All of my UA flights this past weekend were fine, with the exception of ONT-SFO on a packed CR2.

You allowed yourself to book such a flight? It is unbelievable that anyone with your flying experience is not able to book away from the CRJs.

I fly DL most of the time and even over there with Comair and ASA rampant I am able never to take a CRJ for any trip longer than SDF-CVG (flying time <20 minutes).

Sadly, on UA, we all must suffer on the occasional CR2 until they all go away in the not too distant future.

SFO-ONT used to be a CR7 which was great.

It's a necessary evil in his case. IIRC ONT-SFO is the first return leg of the infamous Tampon Run.

Greetings from the EWR octagon.

I asked the C:rolleyes:C:rolleyes: flight attendant if she minded looking at the manifest to tell me if I was CO:-: (I was in 1B) and she told me "that is an internal designation only and not for you to know."

.... h'okay.

I'm a bit 'ed that my flight, departing prior to 1:30 and blocked at about 3 hours is listing "pretzels" as th meal in F. And Au Bon Pain is no longer.

Glad things got restored Scott. ^

Clicking on the "New Posts" tab reveals that there are way too many "Announcements."

I had to book ONT-SFO, to be able to route back down to LAX, so I could fly LAX-ORD-TPA (new FlightMemory Lines). :-:

It wasn't too terrible. One segment of eight in whY, less than one hour in length, with approximately 50K total RDM earned in BD as a result. Well worth it. ^

It is the only choice to go via SFO, and DEN-ONT is .TED

Aye. My E70 from IAD got switched over to the CR7 about six weeks before travel. At least I got to check out GoJet (new regional carrier for me). Also, the CR7s do have ExPlus and E+. It's definitely better than a CR2.

My DEN-ONT was on a newly converted ex-TED A320 with the new leather interior. Actually, a lot of the old TED routes are now on converted A320s with the freshest interiors in the UA domestic fleet. ^

Whoops, just realized CO cuts off lunch at 1pm, which explains why I get bretzels.
