They need to change that part about "Neither rain nor snow nor sleet…”" if they are going to not deliver. I asked my neighbors and they did not get mail either today.

Why even go to sleep?

I've found that even if it's 2 hours it's worth it (1.5 starts to get into dubious territory...) and as long as OH can pack quickly, he's got that and more.

It's no fun to drag around, but especially if you don't have a smartphone, it might be risky to leave it behind. You never know when you're going to need to start searching flights for rebooking or something...

Good Evening, Box.

Can't believe I'm stuck here in Miami while there's a blizzard back in NJ. I'm totally serious.

That is not official. The PO around here uses any excuse to skip deliveries. They are also fond of spending time cramming packages into the mailbox so they don't have to walk to the front d:rolleyes::rolleyes:r.

More proof that CO keeps screwing with mileage earning on LH fares, they updated them sometime recently and now they show 50% for fares that actually earn 100% according to their chart.

It's supposed to snow again Monday night. You'll get your blizzard yet.

Humans sleep in 90-minute cycles once sleep is achieved. Any sleep pattern, so as to get optimal rest, should be thought of as multiples of 90 minutes.

I came in a few minutes ago. I was outside with the fabulous Mrs. Xyzzy shaking the snow off of our poor helpless and bent over trees. I also blew a path down the driveway and out to the street. The snow in the yard goes to my knees. It would go higher on me, but when walking around I pack down a few inches under my feet. We've got at least 19" in most places. The driveway is a bit deeper, particularly at the bottom. Our pretty large sn:eek:wblower isn't tall enough to do the shoveled-in mess at the entrance to the driveway.

TNT needs to come over from Europe and give the USPS a run for their money.

I got mine. :p Watched the letter carriers trudging through the snow, too.

Paging sbm12 - checked for ya. This has resulted in a 218.24/287.10ai AA fare YYZ-MIA-EWR for Wed. There may be other options, but given the fare this will at least get you +++ miles...

Thanks! Ultimately my trip got scrubbed, so I'm out the one-way fare TO YTO but never coughed up the cash for the return. I'll figure a way to make use of the one way eventually or just chalk it up as one of those things in life....

"Yes, we had a plane to crash."

I think that is a CATCH, not a CRASH.

Indeed. Sadly, I actually made that error twice in the post. I fixed it the once on my original proofing. I've now fixed it the second time as well. Thanks for the catch. ^

FAIL. That is a 12 minute operation max on early morning flight days. That gets you 33 extra minutes of sleep. :-:
