So we are packing up and praying for a smooth closing this week on the condo and we have a through the wall AC which are rediculously expensive. We put up a sign trying to sell it in our building and our neighbors said that they would buy it 2 weeks ago so I took the sign down thinking it was a done deal. Well today I went up to their apartment and caught them off guard as the were smoking (not tobacco). When I rang their doorbell the quickly ran to the door and locked both dead locks and yelled "who is it". I told them it was Gabe from 3A and asked if they wanted the AC and they replied "no we dont want it":mad::mad::mad:. I paid a little over $500 for it with a group discount, used it for 4 months and was trying to sell it for $250. At this point Im not moving it and will get a lot of gratification destroying it and leaving it in the trash can so NO ONE can use it. EVER!!!! On the other hand does anyone in the NYC area know if I can donate it to someone that will come pick it up, at least then I could write it off.

Yeah, I did it. I just bought up to E+ on UA for our flight next week from LAX - LIH. My posterior just has bad memories of our last flight from LAX - LIH, albeit on DL. I have sat on wooden church pews that were more comfortable!

Have completed the unpacking, inspection and re-wrapping of our kitchen cabinets and assorted paraphanalia. Was a mammoth task. Several cabinets were damaged and so will need to be replaced. My guess is that most of them were damaged in transit. A couple of doors need the stain/glaze adjusting, but the rest of the rejects were broken frames, chipped edges, etc. :rolleyes: At least we have plenty of lead time available to us ....:rolleyes:

Mr.Brit opened a chase checking account. Did his 5 credit purchases in the first month and then left the account alone for a few weeks. Chase closed the account after it had been "dormant" for 30 days! But, he did get his 25k miles.
