We just offered my wife's mother a flight to visit us using my DL miles and she said she would rather not have a layover. Well, then I guess you can pay for your own ticket :rolleyes:. She's not exactly in a position to spend a lot of $ because she doesn't have it nor does she make a lot so I figured it was a nice gesture, I guess not :confused:.

Publicly traded, pipeline companies. I sold them in 2009 because they were more of a hastle and always have K-1 issues. Bought into a fund that consolidates all the K-1's and gives you a 1099. No problem with them as their fiscal year ends Nov 30.

OnePass platinums departing on CM get in even in coach. The woman at the counter noted something on my BP as she rattled off a bunch of Spanish at me. I understood "AeroMexico Salon" so I didn't ask for any translations. Perpetuating the misconception that I actually speak foreign languages is fun for me. :p

The AmEx Centurion Lounge (accessible for Platinum Card folks) is also pretty nice. And there are a number of other lounges in the terminal that are private or otherwise accessible by other folks. I didn't try to get into any of them but there are several.
