I'm watching again - NASCAR race is over.

You know, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the US Hockey team beating the USSR and winning the Gold, it would be nice if we won gold this year. That it and it would be nice to hear the Canadians complain for the next 4 years how we cheated and robbed them.

I can only relay the information I have. And the messages came through very early this morning.

Mrs. Mackie and I just finished steak sammiches made from two really nice fillets that I saw at the store yesterday. I am also making King Ranch Chicken for later tonight and lunch tomorrow in a moment.

Dinner for Thursday with Monitor, Franny, Flyer_70 and her mister has also been procured, mostly. We'll be dining on pork tenderloin, with Mackie's Nearly Famous Smashed Taters™, grilled asparagus, green beans, and a nice salad. There will also be bread of some sort and a dessert that I have not yet acquired the ingredients for, but I'm thinking buttermilk pie at this point.

Reading these food posts, I just realized I never ate any lunch. I guess we'll have an early dinner... Beef stir fry for us -- lots of vegetables. ^

My corned beef will be done soon but I'm making pizza - corned beef is better the next day cold.

I wonder if I can squeeze in some airline geekery on teh honeymoon. Maybe I can haz the UA 772 from OGG-KOA.

I am waiting for a corrected 1099 from Hyatt for the value of my London trip. They grossed me up with cash but sent a 1099 for the wrong amount. :rolleyes:
