The first set of bonus miles from my CO/Chase checking account posted today. Looks like opening the account online works just fine! ^

Have you given them the bad (for them) news yet?
No, not until I have a firm start date. Later, Box. 1600-0030. |

The "free" car from my PITA sister (actually from my late father) is driving me nuts. When the car transporter picked up the car he left the keys and alarm fob is his jacket that he had placed on top of his cab roof. The jacket was forgotten and blew off as he drove away. The guy did notify my BIL about this and he found the keys and fob in the parking lot. I was sent these keys but when the driver arrived at the house he had made another key.
So I thought good, we now have 3 keys. Little did I know that the new key is not programmed to work with the alarm system. Currently I have the alarm going off about every 30 minutes due to the fact that I disengaged the alarm system and then used the wrong key to attempt to start the car. I called the dealer and I can undo the alarm system by pushing a button locked on the sidewall under the steering wheel. Have to wait for the kids to come home to help with locating the button and pushing it in while I turn the key, which has to be done together. I am currently driving my neighbors crazy because the alarm system is going off every 30 minutes. And we haven't been able to drive the car because BIL removed the car registration before he shipped it. No way can you drive around California without some type of paperwork. |

It's bad at rush hour, but not so much the rest of the time. The only thing that comes close to being as bad as SoCal is the I-35 section around downtown.
It makes my head want to explode just thinking about that section of 35  . Takes 1.5 hours to get from Braker to Town Lake after work. That's like 5 or 6 miles. |

Are you getting another drink and relaxing since you don't have to be anywhere? :D |

Yes. Sad isn't it? Hanging around the PC on a Friday afternoon because I can't stand to go back to my cruddy apartment. Just call me Del Griffith. |
