Actually, I'll rephrase what I said. She actually has the capacity to be Ivy League material, just not the motivation.

You say this like your penchant for copious alcohol consumption is a thing of the past. ;)

This penchant even came up during Box Do.

Just like I-410 is the loop in San Antonio. Concordantly, I-405 in Los Angeles is a spur of I-5 covering west LA.

I don't have to go to the DMV for at least another decade - cars are registered through the County Clerk (and can be done via mail). Another ^ for Tennessee.

The pay raise is actually $1,000 a year, so it isn't remarkable, but certainly not bad either. It will really open doors for management roles that my wife will have to be dragged into kicking and screaming.

AmEx raised the limit on my SkyTeam USA card yet again.

That was me too. Could have gone to an elite college on a full brainiac ride had I applied myself from 7th grade on. Could probably still get myself admitted to MENSA if I felt like taking the tests.

I would like to sit for another IQ test and a Myers-Briggs at some point. My two IQ scores were as much as 30 points apart when I was a kid. I wonder if age narrowed and then raised or lowered anything.

And future pay raises (and retirement matches) are compound interest on that amount. Plus a graduate degree rarely closes doors.

And don't forget Loop 1, I mean, "Ahh Screw It" road in Austin. Worst. Loop. Ever. :D

Good ol' Mopac. Named such for one of two reasons:

1. The Missouri Pacific railroad runs down most of it.
2. Due to traffic, during rush hour, it is Mo' pac'd.

Mopac and 183 were bad when I lived in Austin in the late '90s. I can only imagine how bad they are now.

In other news, 3 of my 4 BD stays have credited to my Wyndham account. 4th should credit soon.

Nothing on BD site yet, though.
