Wow! You're busy with MRs. I think you may have been infected with the mrvirus. Treatable only by embarking on multiple MRs for the rest of your natural life ....:D

The cause for that virus is a seriously diminished workload & travel budget

A question for the Texas Box people:

How can you have ownership papers issued by NC and yet have TX plates on your car?

I always thought the two needed to match.

Im bored. One of my co-workers last day here was today and the owner of the company worked from here rather than his house or vacation home so that everything went smoothly. He just wished the lady leaving good luck and tried to shake her hand and she refused. He's 72 and old school. I could tell that ate him up by her not shaking his hand.

They do not. My truck (that I'm currently selling) is titled in California (where I bought it) but registered in Texas.

That sounds like one version of my personal hell.

I learned most of my geography from hours with my parents' National Geographic Atlas, which was at one point probably almost as tall as I was. :p Upper Volta was my favorite African country name...
And then I remember, in the oft-changing 1990s, scrutinizing maps and globes to see *just* how out-of-date they were. Did they still say Soviet Union? Yugoslavia? Czechoslovakia? Had Eritrea been carved out of the African coast yet? And so on...

The lady showed a lack of grace. Would it have killed her to shake his hand? I don't know the background, obviously, but, I mean, really - just a lack of grace. <Tuts and shakes head>

Upper Volta was my favorite African country name too! I also loved seeing Ulan Bator on the map as the capital of Mongolia (at least I think it was the capital of Mongolia!)

ETA: googled! Yup. Capital of Mongolia.

I-540 is correct - it is a loop, not a spur.

If it is a loop then the first digit should be even, not odd. :-:

Botswana is my favorite, if only because it is fun to say. ^

Good to know. Now the next step is getting the car registered in CA.

Brituchenite, Scott6067, FT Lurker, and Steph3n, just FYI (according to SeatCounter):

JFK-PTY: 3 seats left for Y fare, 9 for C,D,I,Z ^
PTY-MEX: showing up as Aeromexico with 9 Y fares and 1 J (CM's website confirmed by only showing 1 F seat for sale....helloooo exit row! (14A)) :td:

MEX-PTY: 5 in D & 8 in J (also showing up as Aeromexico....this UG will be hit or miss)
PTY-JFK: 0's across the board but CM's site will sell me 8 F tix

Just in case, does anyone know if a Copa VDB credit will be usable on CO or only on CM?

You'll need to have valid registration from another state in your name or the title in your name. Prepare for  on taxes if the vehicle is remotely newish.
