I appreciate the Olympics at its finest. And by at its finest, I mean the United States of America is leading the medal counts, reaffirming the God-given exceptionalism of the American people.

Did you need to walk home uphill without shoes, at least. :p (sorry for making light of a bad situation)

I didn't have shoes. DL lost them. :p

This was ten years ago. We've recovered.

Watch with the sound off. That's what I'm doing.*

OK, I think right before the commercials, I saw one of the Canadian team members bringing food out to the participants. TIVO people, was I right?

I saw someone in a red sweatsuit carrying what looked like a big bowl of pretzels.

Was it pretzels or wings?

Just got back from Kroger. A very fruitful trip with my super customer coupons - one was two free Del Monte vegetables within a certain size range. Most would go for green beans or such. I went with the asparagus ^

After a rebate and a number of coupons, I got three Red Baron pizzas, a box of Mrs Paul fish (it is Lent), two packs of tuna, asparagus, eggs, and beer for "I make money".

Watch sodium content on said purchase.

Plus1 told me and  I haven't surveyed the rest of the country, but have lived in six states; Texas being the only one with the FM designation and the other five states definitely had farms. I like my state but it has left me with many moments of  and
