If you are really lucky, you will also have the entertainment value of the psychedelic tunnel at ORD.

This is true. I miss the DTW tunnel, which now serves as a channel for the movement of the minions of the Wing of Satan, and can make do with the next best thing.

*My wife watches. I don't. Honest.

I understand, really I do. Plus1 is in the room when things like Real Housewives comes on and he , says how stupid they are, but still watches. I think he actually likes project runway.

I came into the bedroom about 10PM and I stretched out on the bed to relax for few minutes. I asked Franny what that was on the TV. She said "Project Runway." I started to watch it and within a few minutes I needed to get up and undress at 2AM. Project Runway is consummately boring and for me excellently sleep-inducing.

Top of the 4th inning in a 1-1 tie for those of you scoring at home.

Everytime I fly back from CLT i land on 29. It's weird. I've landed more on 29 in the last month then I have the rest of my life.

I don't recall my parents going to the DMV with me; in fact I'm certain they did not (and *I* would have been responsible for ensure I had all documents, not them). The coddled children of today!

At least... this is the theory I've heard bandied about. Could be urban legend, but it makes sense.

This would also explain the existence of interstate highways in Hawaii. That still gets me.

There are some shows my wife watches that I have to leave the room for (The Bachelor, Grey's Anatomy, and Private Practice tops among them). For Project Runway, I can stay in the same room at least (and unlike monitor, I can stay awake).

For the first several years we were married, we lived in a studio apartment in Manhattan. I had to go sit in the closet then.

I was stuck with a 1-year-old in the commuter terminal at CVG a number of years ago. Not only was there no food, there were no seats. At least we found a space against the wall to sit. Oh, and it was late at night because our flight was delayed. And DL lost our luggage, leaving us with no clothes for our child (at least we had diapers). That was fun.

Did you need to walk home uphill without shoes, at least. :p (sorry for making light of a bad situation)
