True long-haul deals are much more rare than transcon deals. That being said, $226 for a transcon is cheap but not really a deal, IMO.

Agreed - not great but it serves the purpose for me at this point in the year. Being one-third down the road to Gold by the end of Q1 for less than $800 in CO's pocket is not horrible from where I sit, especially after last year's phenomenal deal I got on the year of flying between AMS and PHX not being paid by me, the Star Do, not paying real money to go to Do IV, and the matched BWI-SEA. |
