Like him or not, I give Tiger respect for being a man and taking responsibility for his actions and getting help. Most importantly, I think it's great to hear that he and his wife are apparently working to repair their marriage. In a day where so many high profile people are living irresponsible lives, it's nice to see someone finally take an honorable approach.

The E+ thread has a recent post in it that I can only assume is a UA partisan's attempt at humor. The signature line calling M+ the best FFP in the USA was really my only clue.

He knows no other way than to go about life honorably. Earl taught him right. Sure, whoring around like he did was less than honorable, but I'm also taking Tiger at his word that he might well be a pent-up sex addict. Props to him for having the cojones to admit the problem and a good-faith attempt to make it right.

Asking Gloria Allred for her take on a famous adulterer is a bit like asking the UA forum to vote on the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

She is doing this on behalf of a porn star who 'quit her job' because 'he loved her' oh my, the !

Agree. Leave the wife and kids alone.

Agree. No matter what you think of Tiger, or his actions (which, personally I find reprehensible), I think it takes a lot of courage and humility to step forward and admit to the world, that in essence you are basically a jerk.

Now, it may be a PR ploy, and his delivery may have been wooden and very well scripted, but I do feel it takes guts to get up there in front of the world and admit that you were a scuzz-bucket.

I am neither a Tiger fan nor a hater. I just hope that he sorts his life out, and that is wife, children and family can get some peace either way.

Not to nitpick (except that I'm nitpicking), but wouldn't the second sentence in your signature make better use of the article, "The" instead of, "A?" :)

I just noticed that somewhere along the line in the last few days I crossed the 6,000 mark :D:D:D. I feel sure it was in the Box. :D:D:D

ETA: As this post is #6067 for me, I am dedicating it to Scott6067, for no other reason other than that he is Scott6067 ..... oh, and that he's a cute, guy, too!

I believe it was -- sorry for the lack of fanfare! Congrats belatedly. :-:
