Right now, I've got:

JFK-PTY-MEX-PTY-MEX (MR)
JFK-SFO-JFK (MR)
JFK-PTY-MEX-PTY-MEX (MR)
PHL-PHX; PHX-IAH-PHL (VACA)
EWR-BOS-EWR (WORK)

And I've got a few Florida trips looming for work. Should be enough to keep it +500 from now on! ^

Wow! You're busy with MRs. I think you may have been infected with the mrvirus. Treatable only by embarking on multiple MRs for the rest of your natural life ....:D

I found 300 Czech Koruna as I was packing this morning. ^

Vdara was great, but if traveling with kids, probably not so much, as I believe all rooms are suites with just a king bed. There is a sleeper sofa, but they might prefer a real bed if everyone is sharing a room.

Aria, the casino resort in CityCenter, looks incredible as well. Rooms there are equally nice and the public facilities in that properties are gorgeous.

Oh, and did I mention the smell? All public interior spaces in CityCenter have a scent piped through the HVAC system, and it's just a little different in each building. But no matter where you go, everything not only looks wonderful, but it smells very fresh and clean, without being obnoxious.

Vdara looked too "W"-ish for me and the kids. Looking for something more child-friendly.

Yay! I am in Manhattan the day of the 11th with a client, so I will stay in town to party with you.

Admittedly, I've never faced this issue before because CO's previous domestic codeshare partners required connections (making the convenience of the nonstop the clear determinant in all but unusual circumstances).

For me, UA has been great to deal with for schedule changes for the one trip I have ticketed with them. I can see how they could be better than CO.

I would not recommend the MGM or Harrah's aka hooker central after 6pm

maybe it is just the conventions they come out of the woodwork.

I am talking about for kid friendly here. I mean even if they know what they are, and what they are doing, it is  to have to deal with the hordes of them.

Anyone know what TI is like? I was a bit put off because it seemed so cheap, and therefore I read "nasty".

On the short list so far are: mandalay bay, Paris, Venetian. Will also look at Marriott Chateau and Treasure Island.

But, if the airfares keep climbing at the rate they are, it's back to Plan A and drive to Florida.

Indeed. My employer has made a decided effort to leave the IT/IS dark ages in the last couple years.

Back when I started in '01, my laptop was running NT 4.0.
We finally went to XP in 2:rolleyes::rolleyes:6.

Then, things started getting better...we got Exchange 07 and Sharepoint 07 in 2008. We got Office07 in 2009, and we're getting Win7 Q3 this year. IT has committed to making Office 2010 available within 6 months of release.
