Oh wow, good for them. My M.O. in such situations is to break out the BBDS - it tends to silence all the haters and naysayers and leaves them in awe of greatness.

I just read about it. That is .

I enjoyed some of the posts after the article I read. "Mr T is offended the new line disses his bling." :-::-::-:

No, it relates to hypersensitive lobbyists. Apparently someone was "offended" (how I hate the societal context that word has come to have.....with a white-hot burning passion) about MARTA's Yellow Line running through an Asian neighborhood. It was the Yellow Line long before the neighborhood was Asian. That, however, did not stop the city from kowtowing to a falsely and incorrectly perceived verbal construction that was in no way insulting...it is now going to be called the Gold Line. Blech.

The overhead stuff has a similar sliding track to mount under the bins to the way the seats mount to the floor as I understand it. They may need some different plastic panels to account for the different spacing between the rows but getting the stuff in place should be trivial.

As for FAA certifications being required, my understanding is that as long as you are not affecting the exit rows, the total number of seats goes down and the seats used are the same hardware there should not be an STC required. But I'm not an FAA inspector so what do I know.

I applied to their school of Hotel Management way back when. I recall reading about the abnormally high suicide rate.

They were doing the conversion right around when I started flying UA regularly. I think with the row removal, they did have to do a little shifting. I'm pretty sure they have some spacers of some kind in the channel where the lights, air nozzles, and masks go so that each module can be shifted accordingly.

I was looking up at the ceiling on a UX regional with E+, and I'm pretty sure they had different sized spacers in E+ vs E-.

So, I'd imagine it's not too hard to accomplish the modification.

Edit: beaten by sbm12's typing speed.

It didn't have anything to do with the escaped zebra that caused traffic jams in Atlanta yesterday, did it?

Question - has CO indicated any means by which we can support its HND application?

Hmmmmm. I was at my mother's house last night and my fiancee was on the phone with me from the apartment watching the news. She saw the stolen ambulance on 76 yesterday and then saw this and made it sound to me like they both happened in Philly.
