I had no idea I was already registered for Wyndham Rewards... I was attempting to do the BD promo and received an e-mail that I am already a member. :(

Good Morning, Box.

It's portable in a world where your one carryon is a 22" rollaboard, and you just lay the sleeved laptop on top of everything in the bag. The 17" MBP weighs about the same as my current home laptop (an aging 15" Dell Inspiron which struggles to run Lightroom).

But really, most of the time it'll just be portable within the house, just like the current laptop is. When I'm on the road for work, it's my D620 (which goes end-of-lease next week and I get an HP Elitebook). When I'm on the road for me, I'll take the hackintoshed Mini 10v.

Morning, Box. No news on teh yob front.

Breakfast turned out to be a FAIL. I was aware that one cannot run the toaster oven and microwave at the same time, however I was unaware that toaster oven - microwave + any other kitchen appliance would blow out the kitchen. My spicy turkey and egg breakfast tacos turned out edible, but not as good as they could have been. The damn coffeepot blew out before the pot was done.

There is more snow on the ground and I have stuff to do today. Today started off on a real sucky note.

They had canceled mine(lack of use) -I believe it was the old trip rewards, had to re register
Took a while for me to figure out that Wyndham has two programs and one does not talk to the other.
Wyndham Rewards is for points at all their properties
Wyndham by Request is for Wyndham properties only and is a tiered stay loyalty program-gets you free bottle of water

I carried a 17" for a while, it was horrible. I am down to a 12" now and love it :D

It could be the best hotel in the entire bloody world, replete with suite upgrades for general members, and I still wouldn't stay there because their website resized my browser on load.

+1. This is probably my biggest Internet pet peeve.

Alex even does it with CO.com...

Finally....someone who shares my frustration with this (and the same rule applies to unsolicited pop-up's)! If a company's website changes my browser's size/location, they've just about lost any chance of doing business with me. Launching Alex does this sometimes but I only use her to see what kind of wierd responses I can get so it doesn't really count.

Sorry to hear your day started off poorly; hopefully it turns around into an awesome day.
