icurhere2, you would be interested to know that I was able to get our group tonight a 10% discount on our bill!^ I happenned to pick up a 'hotel guest' promo menu that I saw as I was exiting the sister bar (where I found jrzyshawn & SO) to the restaurant that we went to meet baglady & Plus1. They even discounted the drinks!:D

Well, once the kitchen is done, we move onto the dining room and guest bathroom (just tile floor, paint, and fixtures). After that, it's the living room (fake hardwood, paint, furniture, and home theater system). Then we can finally start working on the upstairs. I know it's not as big as building a house out of a hole in the ground, but it still has it's :rolleyes: moments. Once the downstairs is done, we'll have to have a Box mini-DO.

The roads aren't great and there is lots of traffic due to inadequate snow removal, but at least the kids are out of the house. |
