What is this and what does it do?

It can be found here. It allows you to charge 4 devices at the same time, provided that you have USB cables to charge it. I carry a BlackBerry, bluetooth headset, and iPod, and it allows me to charge all at the same time while not carrying around extra chargers.

Anyone know what TI is like? I was a bit put off because it seemed so cheap, and therefore I read "nasty".

I have friends that have stayed there during conventions, they were not impressed with the rooms. They were impressed with the nightclub. I went to the club one night. It got a :td: compared to several others.

Of course you aren't looking for this, but should someone want to go clubbing, Tangerine is the suck, way too small. It is closet club. I like the open air rooftop kind, I like openness!

Not looking for clubbing! MissTeenBrit might be interested  (and, no she cannot go clubbing in Vegas. Period.) but I want something that both the kids can enjoy.

After a phone call I have confirmed this to be true. I guess she wasn't paying attention to the news and thought that both items were in Philly. Stranger things have happened.

I've never been impressed with any rooms in any Vegas hotel with the exception of theHOTEL but the:rolleyes: of staying there doesn't make it a viable option in my mind.

I haven't stayed at TI, ever, but I've heard good things about the rooms post renovation. And its centrally located, which is why I suggested it for a family venture.

Brit, don't let prices scare you. Room inventories in Vegas are so crazy that all it takes is a lack of a convention in town to drive great rooms down to scary low prices. It's not a good metric to judge by.

ETA: the steakhouse in TI is one of the best values on the strip in my opinion.

My new laptop appears to have started its trip from Shanghai to Chicago, according to FedEx. Expect this to be me next Thursday:

You can haz Office 07/10, They changed too much, my slow brain can't relearn where all the stuff is. Too many "wunerful widgets"

Speaking of new ITish stuff, my Logitech BT mouse finally quite it's click-click function. Had a MS replacement downstairs. It's amazing, to me anyhow, how something as simple as a mice takes so much time to get comfortable with

Fiancee and her mother are on a tour of hotels and the wedding venue today. If I'm not mistaken, the date is being set in stone sometime this afternoon. :-:

I ordered a custom pair of Nikes a couple of years ago and they were not important enough to make the TPAC flight several days in a row. I kept seeing some warning about higher priority cargo in Shenzhen that was delaying my new sneakers' crossing of the Pacific.

The nice thing is that they didn't make '07 a mandatory upgrade for us (yet). You can upgrade whenever you want, because the stock image we get has the '07 downconverters installed.

Try this program to make 2007 show you the classic menus:
http://www.freewaregenius.com/2009/0...n-office-2007/

I shared it with some of the "old dogs" in the office and it was well-received.

I haz offuce twenty ten, I like it, but I had gotten used to 2007 edition, and the 'changes' aren't as drastic then. I haz office on the web apps too, but in firefox, needs lots of work, I get page not found errors for most everything.
