I was in to ONT at 11:30am and out by 12:30pm.

Flight times are definitely brutal, but I think it'll be worth it for my first trip to PSP.

Sure. If you say so.

After a big lunch with coworkers, and this really good shrimp the Marriott is serving in the concierge lounge tonight, I may just hang out here in the lounge and snack and drink for dinner, and not bother with a restaurant. Would certainly make the expense report easier to fill out this week.

I am craving mortons....maybe I can go get a nice steak at the local grocer, but I should mix it with some rice dish to claim I am eating my rice still :D

Is 12 hours enough to build an ONT-PSP driving day-trip around?

My girl friend, formerly from PS, said that the burros are there. She also said the weather this time of year is great for cross country skiing-lots of snow and ice on that trail.

Now you have two good reasons to go. ^

Is there some purpose to this rice and bean diet? Other than you're nuts. :D

40's for us this weekend!:-::-: Of course, that means rivers of melting snow and lots of mud.

Just checked in for tomorrow's flights home on US. I still feel dirty.

Eat the beans and rice. You'll no longer be hungry. Then find something else to do to distract your from the craving. Of course, at some point you'll have to give in and eat some (but not a huge portion) to satisfy the craving.

My partner gave up meat, alcohol, and sweets for Lent. He's done pretty well, although it has led to some readjustment to our eating habits on weekends. We're also finding the Atlanta isn't nearly as vegetarian friendly as Houston is. Fortunately he is still eating fish so he hasn't gone completely vegetarian.

Sounds like a good idea, while this isn't for lent, just for focusing on some business tasks and getting some things squared away.....I figured with others on Lent it was as good of a time as any.

I'm really horrible too. I ordered steak last Saturday night, but I was really craving it and he insisted it was OK. I think the payback was he ate half the soup I ordered as an appetizer for myself. It was vegetarian, and outstanding.
